Just like the four seasons of the year, I'm also learning about the seasons of motherhood and wifehood. There has been a huge shift of season for our family in the past couple months. Mike took a big leap of faith and we started working on our own family business. It all happened like the same week I started our homeschooling year. So many changes all at once, just like the shift in seasons. Its been such a growing season for our family and so good in all the hard ways.

I'm so proud of my husband. You guys, we have been praying about this since January of this year and were waiting for God's timing in it all. Eight months later, we felt a sure enough peace and consolation in knowing it was time. It was really scary to know he was just going to tell his boss one day that he was leaving, and not knowing when our next paycheck would be. Its only been about two months in, but God has literally provided for us everyday. He has been working so hard and around the clock most days. Yet, the flexibility it has given to our family has been truly glorious. I've been counting my blessings for this season of life everyday. Yes its not all so easy, but Mike and I are always reminding each other that we have too much to be grateful for.

So thats a little update about our little life right now. In between juggling three kiddos all day, homeschooling, and starting up a family business its been a little crazy around here. I'm planning on coming back to this space and blogging more often now that I'm able to catch my breath. I have so much to share and I can't wait to come back to creativity. The past year has been a juggling one for me, so many hard and exhausting days, and I didn't have much energy to give myself to anything else at the end of the day. This season has been a welcoming change and I'm just so, so grateful.

Hope you all are thriving out there and this season of life is being kind to you too. :)

PS: These pictures are from our friend's wedding a couple weeks ago. Sophia and Zelie were the flower girls, and Mike was the best man. The top two pictures were taken by my talented friend Katie Beverly
